DRAINAGE UPGRADE WORKS Linden Close and Fourteenth Street Intersection, Mildura Intersection Closed – Detour Applies Start: 7am Monday 13 July 2015 Finish: 5pm Friday 7 August 2015 PUBLIC NOTICES Deakin Avenue Urban Design Guidelines Community Workshop Mildura Rural City Council is continuing to develop the Deakin Avenue Urban Design Guidelines which aims at setting a guiding framework for the future development along Deakin Avenue, Mildura’s iconic boulevard. The Key Issues Report has been prepared in Stage 1 of the project. The report provides an overview of all the relevant existing conditions, opportunities and constraints pertaining to Deakin Avenue from Seventh Street to the bend near Gordon Avenue. You can access the Key Issues Report from Council’s Deakin Avenue Service Centre or at www.mildura.vic.gov.au As part of the project’s next stage, Council invites you to attend a community workshop to contribute your ideas to the vision and future image of Deakin Avenue. This vision will underpin the guidelines to be prepared in the project’s later stage. Planning Permit Application The land affected by the application is located at Calder Highway CARWARP CA: 47 Psh: YATPOOL The application is for a permit to use and development of the land for the purpose of a renewable energy facility on land contained within the Farming Zone, including the removal of native vegetation in accordance with clause 52.17 of the Mildura Planning Scheme and creation of access to a road in a Road Zone Category 1 The applicant for the permit is Planning & Property Partners Pty Ltd The application reference number is 005.2015.00000175.001 You may look at the application and any documents that support the application at the office of the responsible authority: Mildura Rural City Council, 108 Madden Avenue, Mildura. This can be done during office hours and is free of charge. Any person who may be affected by the granting of the permit may object or make other submissions to the responsible authority. An objection must be sent to the responsible authority in writing, include the reasons for the objection; and state how the objector would be affected. The responsible authority will not decide on the application before Friday, 5 August 2015. If you object, the responsible authority will tell you its decision.
