Mildura Weekly – 30/05/14 61 www.milduraphonebook.com.au SYDNEY’S ‘Hotshots’ group is planning to set local female hearts a-flutter on Wednesday, June 11, when they showcase their latest ‘Six Pack Sensation Extravaganza’ show at the Edge Hotel Motel. The Hotshots have spent the past year working with one of Aus- tralia’s leading choreographers to put the new two-hour show togeth- er – which will feature a “montage of acts including fiery firemen, se- ductive officers and suited gentle- man.” The Sydney Hotshots are known across Australia as the country’s only national male revue touring act, and have remained one of the most sought after acts for 19 years. Appearing on Australia’s Got Talent and Sunrise, the ‘Six Pack Sensation Extravaganza’ treat audi- ences to a “dynamic, intimate and exciting” show, with crowd partici- pation and giveaways. Forming part of a national tour – and one of 300 shows the group will perform this year alone – Hot- shots director Paul Reynolds said the group was also planning an in- ternational tour later this year. “The key to our success has been our attention to detail, the constant evolution of the show and the guys’ love of performing,” he said. “They spend hours perfect- ing their moves, training to stay in shape and researching new ideas and songs. “I believe that it is this sort of ethic – the love for the show, the au- dience and the level of profession- alism our guys bring to the show – that makes the Sydney Hotshots so successful, and why I know the boys will do well overseas.” Dave Hughes – the latest addi- tion to the Hotshots line-up after spending 10 years in Las Vegas per- forming at the Excalibur Casino – said he was enjoying the dedication and work ethic of the group, and more specifically spending time with Australia’s “beautiful women.” “There is nothing more excit- ing than performing to an audience full of gorgeous Aussie women and seeing them have the time of their lives,” he said. “Mums and daughters, office workers, best friends, sisters – they all come together at the show. “There is no place like Australia, and moving here to join the Syd- ney Hotshots is a dream come true, touring this beautiful country with its outstanding women.” Tickets for the show are $28, with bookings available by contact- ing 5023 7011. Shape up, says Tania MERBEIN’S favourite girl – Tania Zaetta – loves to stay in shape for her many televi- sion and live appearances, and now she’s passing on some fitness and toning tips by way of a four-week online exercise program. And she said that depending on future commitments, she would love to return home to Sunraysia for a personal fitness- based workshop. “I am hoping to reach as many people as possible,” she said. Tania said her online Pilates, weight-loss and lifestyle video program allowed women instant access to how she lived her life, and what she eats to help stay slim and tone up fast. “We’ve had great results from women aged from 20 to 60, people who have had limited, or no exercise,” she said. “They are losing between four and seven kilos over the four weeks, and up to seven centimetres off their waists. It’s certainly worked for Tania, who not so many years ago ranked by a leading UK men’s magazine alongside Elle Macpher- son, Cameron Diaz, Kylie Minogue and Liz Hurley as having ‘the five best butts in the world, and regularly making ‘best body’ lists. Now in her 40s, the former ‘Who Dares Wins’ TV Presenter and ‘first foreigner to conquer Bollywood,’ the world’s largest film industry, showed she practices what she preaches when she shed down to the basics during a promotional film shoot in Fiji (LEFT). Over the years, Tania has qualified as a natural beauty therapist, with an advanced diploma in aesthetics, makes her the perfect health, fitness, beauty celebrity expert.
